Nor-Am Cold Storage Breaks Ground on Trail Street

Nor-Am Cold Storage is a family owned cold storage facility that is based out of Le Mars, Iowa. They currently have 5 facilities, with one Kansas location in Elwood, KS. Their Dodge City facility will be a $35 Million investment in our community. The 148,000 sf facility will employ up to 90 employees in the first 3 years of operation.

Dodge City is an ideal location for Nor-Am, as there are two of the largest beef processing plants in the country located within two miles of their site. Their contractor broke ground on the site located on Trail St. in mid-November, with plans of having the facility operable in October 2020.
